well im a new member with 93 Z28 hard top green color, my car has a moroso CAI with homemade ram air, full 3 in exhaust with a flowmaster series 40 muff , no kitty , ported and polished TB,MSD BLASTER COIL, its has the ecm recalibrated, donkey dong delete, tb coolant by pass,, 100 shot

but i do not like the sound of the flowmaster it sound to tinny to me when u down shift and ur off the throttle ,

future mods, ported LT4 heads ,1:6 to 1 roller rockers, beehive springs,titanium retainers and spring cups, supercharger cam, ported LT4 intake, 58mm TB, mallery hyfire 7 ,long tube headers,turbo,intercooled,callies 4130 forged crank,forged oliver rods, 31cc dished coated and ceramic top SRP forged pistons,splayed mainbearing caps, high volume oil pump, 6 quart oil pan,

yeah im having some issues with it right now with a cooling problem and its driving me nutz,i put a new water pump , new t-stat , new hose's and it still over heats when u start romping on it for a while, it is chipped so its set to run both fans at 150 deg. but i cleaned the RAD fins , my scoop it still under there and not flopping around .
and i have bleed the air outta it too so who knows

yeah, im no expert, but this site should help you with that stuff as well. (did u bleed the cooling system yet?

thanks man , i bleed it but still over heats , i cant even think about running the a/c in the florida heat and stop and go traffic really doesent help it neither, im a mechanic by trade and this has me scratchin my head, im probably sure im gonna need a new rad , i cant be having these problems if im gonna be pushin 500 to 600 hp soon after i order all my parts and build my engine and daily drivin it i cant have cooling problems ,

Mine seems to be runnin hot as well. itll go up to the redline, nut never get into it, then the fans will kick on. I was thinking about installing a manual switch for the fan (along w/ a lower temp t'stat) so i don't have to worry. I am also building a motor for boost, though mine is gonna b s'charged.
