I'm Z06 Corvette owner Looking around for some info on the 2016 Z28 main question will it have the 8 Speed Auto this year?

Hi!

There is no 2016 Z28. Chevrolet has not published any information about a forthcoming Z28 on the 6th generation platform, but at this point it would be a 2017 model at the earliest. I think it's reasonable to assume that some sort of Camaro is coming which will slot in above the SS, but we have no indication of whether it would be a ZL1 replacement or a Z28 replacement (or one of each, or something entirely different), nor what they would call it in either case.

So, at this point, the transmission options on any such model are anyone's guess.
