New to me 96 SS

I recently got my 1996 SS Camaro from my father in law who was the original owner. It is 100% stock and is in pretty good shape for its age and its miles. I got the numbered SS key chain that matches the numbered badge by the shifter and 2 factory SS car covers, one is still new and un opened in the box. He thinks he still has the original windows stickers, which would be cool. For now the car runs and drives fine but has a few different little things I will be fixing. In a few years I plan to rebuild the motor and add other parts to get around 450rwhp naturally aspirated.

Now for a simple and silly question. All my tools are metric from my years of working on Mazda's. Are these cars standard or metric? Hopefully metric, but a reason to get on the tool truck is always a good thing.

Welcome to the club! These car's are both metric and standard. Stroke it to a 383cyl and buy the LE3 head and cam kit and a good dyno tune and you will be at 450rwhp or more. Congratz on the car!
