New LT1 Guy

Hey all. New guy here from the Hampton roads area of Virginia. Used to work in the dealerships as a tech for 7 years, now I'm in the Navy. While at the dealers I was riding around in a 331 powered 67 Camaro. Sold it and got into motorcycles for a while, hate myself for it. Now I've got a disassembled LT1 sitting in the garage and an all forged 396 stroker kit laying next to it. Planning on some spray and a T56 with it all going into a 93-97 Camaro. Pretty impressed with all of the information on this board.

Welcome to CamaroZ28.com.

Always good to have another LT1 owner. I think we have some of the most knowledgeable LT1 people on the internet, and we are willing to help with any problems. Hopefully, you've found Shoebox's LT1 "bible".......

Sounds like you'll have quite the runner once you get something up and running.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I hope to have the shortblock finished up by about February. Money is tight in the holiday season. I've been fartin around with the little ins and outs of my Nitrous System. Not because its necessary right now, but the little fitting and blocks are just so darn cheap!! I just drilled and tapped the intake for the nozzles this past weekend. Should be mocking up the nozzles and lines this upcoming weekend. I'll have pics up soon.

Also, just took a look at Shoebox's LT1 "Bible". MAn, thats a lot of great info right there!!
