I just bought my second Camaro, a 2002 Z28, Onyx Black, Thursday, 8/18/11. My first one was a 1979 Sport Coupe which I bought brand new. It's been a while as you can see. I have been looking for a decent 2002 for months and found this one that was in pretty fair shape. It does have a few paint spots that need attention, but overall its a keeper. I hope to learn a lot about the LS1 from here. I have been a 1st Gen small block builder since the 70's but have zero knowledge of the LS1. It was the main reason I wanted to get my hands on one of the last of the 4th generation Camaros.

I live in auburndale on the weekends, so not far from you, i know your name from somewhere, pretty sure I've seen you in a couple of other lt/ls camaro boards, been looking for a nice 02 myself, glad you found yours!

I used to run a bright yellow S-10 and a 32 bantam 8-71 blown altered at Lakeland and Bradenton. I've had to get out of drag racing. My doctor won't sign my NHRA license physical form anymore. (my "ticker" doesn't like the G-Forces) Sooooooo, now I will get this camaro "street worthy" and terrorize the neighbors for a while
