New here
Hi all. My first post and intro.
I’m Pete. Born in Queens, NY raised on Long Island. Seaford HS Class of 77.
Was first Certified as an auto tech at IASE in Ohio late 1978. Way back then you had to go there to get certified before they outsourced their education curriculum.
Been turning wrenches for a long time and now retired and grease free for a year now.
”Hey, can you fix this real quick?”
How many times have we heard that?
I don’t “fix” anything. See me when you want it repaired. I will see it done in timely fashion.
That’s how I reply to that.
If you’ve ever been broken down in a boat out in the middle of the ocean because of something that was mindlessly ‘fixed real quick’ instead of properly repaired, then I’m certain you get it.
I wish everyone the greatest success and no injuries.
1st veh 1964 Impala 283-2V, Powerglide,
Current veh: C5, LS1,4L60E. Many mods.
I have owned, and still provide care for F bodys in my circle of family and friends.
Hope I can offer good advice and sure open to learn something I missed
wishing peace to all
