getting a 96 z28 this weekend so looking for all the advice and tips to do to it it is bone stock ..... wanna do exshaust first then some other mods what do ya think

Welcome. First things I would do are to inspect the wiring, seals, bushings, and change all filters and fluids simply to minimize any age related issues. I also found that headers, even the small diameter ones (especially when coupled with a K&N filter) provided a good bang for the buck in terms of power and fuel economy (although cat backs make a better sound). Read through the tech areas so you can see all the mistakes and good choices we have made over the years.
