I've owned a couple of Z-28 Camaros and was one of the founders of a dealership sponsored Camaro club. We used to autocross our good old '68 and won the state autocross championship at the North-South Grand Prix in Santa Maria, California in '69.
I'm looking at a new 2011 SS Camaro and wish GM had named the upcoming ZL1 Camaro the Z-28 rather than the ZL1. Now I'm waiting for the announcement of the ZL1 to see whether we get a SS , a ZL1 or something else. I'll be watching this Camaro forum for info unless the dealer calls me with any new info first.
