New to Camaro Z28, Hello

Hello, members new here to Camaro Z28.com Hoping to get some advice and maybe give some as well. Got qick question to start. Have a 95 Z28 all stock basically, well the previous owner had some trans work done, claimed it was rebuilt etc. Well it went yesterday, however I did find a 94 trans for it same thing, 4L60E. Will this work in my 95, I read somewhere that the electronics are different. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Or the Drivetrain forum where the trans, rear end, driveshaft questions should go.

Welcome and enjoy.

Tech section is where you want confirmation but I suspect it will work normally. It was 1993 that the electronics were different.

Welcome! And, yes, there is a difference between the 94 and 95. I think it might have something to do with the lock-up solenoid but I may be wrong. I had a friend who got the one tranny to work in the other year but don't recall the details. Best thing to do would be to ask the smart guys in the drivetrain forum Take care!
