My first camaro

Just got my first Camaro this past weekend. Its a 1978 Z/28 with T-tops. 350 motor with roller valve train, auto trans, headers with dual exhaust. Needs work, mostly cosmetic. The one thing I needed to know is how to take off the broken door handle? the driver side door handle is broken and I have never replaced something like this. do I have to ake out the window? Help
