Hi from England

Hello all on Camaro Z28.com
My name is Ian and I live in Northampton England, I curently own a 94 Z28 with a bunch of upgrades from engine to suspension, transmission and rear axle. My passion is drag racing and has been for well, forever, I also own a 92 Camaro which is purely for drag racing, 555 big block full tube chassis etc, etc. The 94 should be finished in the next few weeks once we have finished the final details and with some help from the guys on this forum, the car hasn't been started yet (fingers crossed) but a brief out line is as follows.
LT1 strocked to 383 with new crank, rods and pistons, Edelbrock heads, new cam, roller rockers, Milodon pan and oil pick up MSD ignition throughout and a few other bits like valve covers and shiny stuff(approx 450 hp). Th400 transmission with JW wheel and converter, Ford (sorry) 9" rear end with all Moser internals and finally all BMR fabrication suspension parts including K member with Qa1 double adjustable shock all round, The last bit being the brakes with Z06 front and Wilwood at the rear, I have no idea what it will run on the quarter but high 11s would be nice with some Mickey Ts on the back, I'll keep you posted.

Any way great site with a mine of infomation most of which I'll probably need at some point down the road. Cheers Ian

Welcome!

I was stationed in England for 4 years (98-02) with the USAF and hope to someday make it back. I miss the beautiful country (and the cherry Tango)! Nice ride btw; post some pics!

I was at RAF Lakenheath, and loved every minute. I want to try and get RAF Mildenhall for my next assignment; i just love the area. Cambridge, Bury St. Edmunds, and London only 45 minutes (although I've done London -> Lakenheath in 32 minutes) away, you just can't beat it.

Hi Silverado

The site is great especially for the infomation that's available.
As to the 5th gen.
It's unlikely it will get an official luanch here as we only have 1 maybe 2 Chevrolet dealers in the country, but I'm not sure, It would be great to think it would.
What will happen though is people will bring them in on personel imports once they are available to export from the USA, also one other problem is the exchange rate has fallen through the floor here which makes everything coming from the States 25% more expensive at the moment.
