hello from kentucky

hey there yall. when i 14 my dad bought his first sports car. i got to go with him to pick it from the dealer, it was a cherry red 91 camaro z28. that was the car that got me hooked on cars, more specifically camaros. he sold the car the day i turned 16. i found the vin number to it 4 weeks ago and found the car rotting in n. cinicannatti ohio. so i drove up there and bought itfor 500.00

so far i have replaced the entire front end steering and suspension parts., almost all the interior. i still have some body work to do and miscellanious crap. anyways. i used to be on this site a long time ago when i had a 95 z28 vert. but i cant rememeber the old email add. or username.

so this is me.

Funny, I have the same story pretty much.

89 IROC bought new when I was 13 traded when I was 15. I found it in 2008 in West Virginia only it was in really good shape... and I paid A LOT more than you did for it!

Enjoy it and have fun rebuilding it!

Mine, as I found it 17 years after we got rid of it:

Welcome back, lucky. Great stories from both you and jr have fun with the project. Always nice to see third gens still alive and well, I'd love to have one myself. Jr, whereabouts in WV did you rediscover the Iroc? I'm from Clarksburg originally.
