Smile Fellow GM fan

Hey,

I'm new here, but I can say that ssdavidw sent me by way of Hardees. I'm not really a Camaro guy, but I did enjoy the press car I had from GM last winter. It was a 2010 Camaro RS V6 that I drove back from the Detroit auto show after the end of press days.

Why do I get press cars? I'm the owner of CheersandGears.com, and we review cars and cover big events. While we have a Camaro section, we cover not just GM but all of the domestics including Ford and Chrysler. So if you have interests other than Camaro, come on over and check us out too. (not trying to steal traffic)

I signed up here because I intend to cover the Camaro even in Philly at the end of this month.

Cheers guys!

Drew

Welcome! Glad to have you here. Didn't you guys have the "Chevelle Skunkworks" portion on your site at one time? I gotta tell ya, I thought that stuff was very well done. Be sure to send your site's Camaro fans this way as well!

It's funny you should mention that. We thought those files were lost in a server crash years ago and yet just two days ago one of the long time Admins found a backup of the entire skunkworks site in a zip file.

If things ever settle down a bit, we'll be bringing that, and "Operation Phoenix", a Pontiac lineup redesign that was done back in the day, back online.

I'm certain all of my Camaro fans know about this place.

Hope I'll get to meet some of you guys in Philly.

Started sorting through the old Skunkworks Chevelle stuff today, Jason.

Hope to have it back online before too long.

When I first saw it, I was thinking that it was so well done that it could actually happen. I'd like to see it again to compare with how it was imagined and how close it came to the new Camaro.

I'll let you know when it's back up.

Thanks for the kind words - we worked our tails off on that project.
