Giving my daughter the Z and need to fix up for her so looking for information to get it done. Mostly need a new motor 160,000 on original just tired.
Have 350 crate carburator motor I can get for 450.00 good idea or not.
Crate motor has 5,000 miles on it. Need a new top and interior also.
hate to let her go but just sitting there since I now drive the cobalt all the time.

nothing wrong with a carb engine in a 4th gen!
but for your daughter driving it.........probably should rebuild the LT1
or get a good used one from somewhere IMO
