winter tire recommedations for winter beater 01 GT

I just got an 01 Mustang GT for my winter beater. Anyone have any tire recommendations? I'm looking at Bridgestone Winterforce tires, and steel rims from Tirerack.com. Anyone use them?

If your interested I have a set of 4 Blizzack WS50s that I took off my LS1 last winter. They have about 5K miles on them and plenty of tread.

If your interested I can take pics of them this weekend. They are 225/55-16s. Here is a link to the tires.

I can sell them to you for $275. $444 new from Tirerack.

I was driving around in the blizzard that we got 2 feet of snow in with my 6-speed LS1 passing plows laughing my *** off. These things do what they say. I never once got stuck and had no weight in the car or anything.

I've had great luck with my Michelin Arctic Alpins.

TTA89, that's tempting, but I really don't have time to hunt down rims seperately, and then have them mounted and balanced. I've got too much to do right now. thanks anyway.

>So your looking for tires on the rims or are you looking for tires that can get used all season long ?

I'm looking to buy a tire/rim package, so I'll have a dedicated set of rims and tires for winter only.

tirerack.com sells rims and tire packages, comes fully mounted balanced w/ air ready to throw on when they come to your door. I bought the Bridgestone Blizzaks WS50's and I swear by them. Bought the rim and tire package for my GTP the 4 tires and 4 15" black steel wheels for $530 total mounted/balanced
