>Yes your right ... she got it from Vortech so you know she paid the full price instead of getting it cheaper through Thunder Racing or TByrne . Well no complaints here , since it didn't come from my wallet .

Awesome Bowtiepwr. I hear ya the hubby and I also have an understanding at christmas. We are not allowed to spend more than 50.00 on each other as we usually buy stuff for ourselves thru out the year. I'm saving up for a 12 bolt with 4:10 gears for my car. And I don't know what he saving up for. Probably stuff for his new truck(F-350 extend cab with long bed. he call it the B.A.T. mobile=big a$$ truck) or stuff for his 69. Ohh I forgot to tell you the good news. The car is going into the body shop on Saturday for full resto. After a 15 year wait. I'm sooo excited for him.

OK here's my list of gifts:
5 matchbox Camaros (71,77, 93, 98, 98)
sponges for my car
wire covering (chrome)
2 bowtie stickers
and a Mini Cooper Yellow (matchbox of course. ) If I had to get a new car besides a Camaro the Mini Cooper would be it.
I also got a new set of mats for my car. My sister got that for me.

Well, I hope you all had a great holiday.

ChevyZ2K, My hubby bought them for me. I think he wet to Walmart to get them. I do know a few are Johnny Lightning ones. I know it's not the same. I know that finding Camaros in smaller scale is tough.

As for Die-Cast. Do I have die-cast. My husband was an avid collector of Nascar cars. So we have atleast 400 cars all 1:24th scale. A few Christmas's ago he bought me all the Camaro (1993) police cars in 1:24th. It's awesome. I also have the test car.

>Hey if the engine isn't ready to get installed (i.e. - all rebuilt) than leave it in the bed of your truck since it makes great weight for the winter snow .
I should have put some thing in the back of my truck so I didn't have to use 4 wheel "AUTO" that often ... well there is always next winter .
