Well i bought the rear off a buddy and i'm not going to use it and i don't even know if it will work in an lt1 anyways. But the rear has 32k on it and he took it out for a moser 12 bolt. Didn't see any real beatings (because he drives like a grandma) or high hp. It has the 3.42's in it. I'm asking what i paid for it 400 bucks.

 

Just FYI

It should be a direct bolt in for the LT1 models. The only thing that changed was the motor and front end when they dumped the LS1 in them. Everything else remained the same.

 

Really......i talked to like five people and they all told me i had to change the backing plate and them some other ones said that the brakes wouldn't work. I figured it was a direct bolt in because like you said only the motor and body style changed. But some a$$ stole my money to install all my stuff so i need to get rid of the rear cuz it's takin up space in my basement and my mom is gettin mad. Thanx for the info though
