Tranny let go yesterday in the finals. No gears. Just a puff of black smoke (probably from hitting the rev limiter). No leaks. No drips. Just no gears. No reverse or park either.

I'm having it examined and hopefully will know more in a day or so.

It was a 700R4 from TCI with a TCI 3600 stall. No warning. No slipping. It just went all at once as I was pulling second gear.

Any advice? I'm looking for the world here... Just took over first place and no money for anything. Any ideas are welcome.

Let me put it this way.... I don't want to be breaking stuff. Next points race is in two weeks.

It was the front trans pump. new one will be here in a couple of days...

 

That doesn't sound too expensive ?
