Looks awesome man

Did you win the lottery?

Is that roll bar going to pass tech at NED? I heard that cage was not IHRA legal? Also did you change gear ratio? How does that bad boy sound?

It will pass tech as long as you weld the rear bars to the main hoop bar. TNTHUB was kind enough to let me borrow his NHRA rulebook (hence the reason I put in a tranny blanket )

Yup, went with 3.42 gears , considered 3.73's but ultimatly chose 3.42's.....now all I gotta do is get a Hypercrap to adjust the speedo

Sounds rather horny if I do say so myself

Oh and to answer Jay's question.......

I will be participating in the LT-1 vs. LS-1 shootout for GMHTP on June 9 so I'm planning on some shakedown runs at NED on June 6, maybe June 4 if it's not in the body shop Gotta make it purdy for the shootout

Uncle Marc

P.S. Quest Racing still sucks !!

Marc,

I'm going to be building a 383 for a D-1. Do you know what CR you are running? Combustion chamber volume of your heads? I too would like to run 15 psi but I don't know if I can lower my CR enough with the stock (ported) heads. Biggest dish piston I can find is a JE -31cc on a 5.7" rod.

Thanks,
Joe

I read somewhere that somebody makes a little device that will fix the speedo for alot less money that the hypertech POS. I just don't recall the name of it, but thats all it does is allow you to change the speedo.

SLP makes a speedo calibration box.
Its alot cheaper than the hypertech programmer.

Also Marc Whats up using the NEDYNO shirt while working on the car. You can't get that all greasy and dirty!

I'm running 9.3 compression, the chamber volume is 64 cc as I had them ported by CNC in Florida. Comparision pics of the heads are on my web page.

Bob,
I thought it was good advertising
