was going north on 128\95 North ,saw this 98-02 Camaro it has total blackouts on the back, and 1 bold black stripe down the middle of the trunk, exhaust too...not sure but had 4 pipes Borla??
and a SS hood with the black stripe going down the scoop...
anyone here own that car or know who does?

yup that would be him I guess...next time you see him ask if he saw a maroon Z on 128 I saw someone in the passenger seat turn around and look at me when I pulled in behind him.

Yep, that was me. I remember your car exactly. I was with my buddy and I noticed you were coming up on me fast, very nice looking ride I must say. I do like the front black outs on LT1's. Good to see some other F-Body fans out on the road

well the turnoff where I went was where the house is practically..just a right and a left off the highway and your there...so its not to much of a stretch to see the place..

My best was 13.8@105. Couldnt hook worth a damn that night, but it was still alot of fun, and I apparently need alot more practice. My friend noticed you coming up on us first and said what the hell is that? I just chuckled and told him it was an LT1 with blackouts. I must say they look real nice man

would like to go to the track but as usual the car decides to have something break during the summer thats a PITA to fix...missfires at WOT..and just to much on my plate to actually fix right now..
..hope I can.. would like to go there one more time....

 

Easy fella, I wasnt bashing on LT1's at all. I actually planned on getting a slightly used 97 white/orange 30th ann. until the rents persuaded me into a new car. The reason I chuckled was because my friend owns an 02 camaro, and he was just like "what the hell is that" cause it looks stealthy with the front blackouts

Very nice car...I was in the car with caps94zodg...I was like wow, thats a nice car...we just didnt know what Yr it was...I kinda figured it was new, but not that new! Nice ride!!!
