Sucks to be home ;)
Well I arrived back to MA a little while ago from NC/SC and it sure does suck to be home, for the most part, lol. I just completed 2450 miles of driving, with the highlights being the 14hr/950 mile trip to SC from MA, the 7hr/350 mile trip from SC to NC, and the final leg of the trip, the 12hr/800 mile trip from NC to MA. Made all of the trips straight (minus pit stops) and alone (that part SUCKED) I accrued the other 350 somewheres along the line, lol. I made the trip in the GTP. Worse than all the driving was leaving behind my on/off GF of almost a year, who I am head over heels in love with (she feels the same about me, hehe) and may move down south to be closer to (may do my co-op in SC to see if we can deal with each other for 3 months instead of 3-5 days at a time, lol).
Some highlights were:
-The hottie GF in SC (hehe)
-Her kick butt house (would probably go for close to 750k here) with 2 HUGE TV's, hot tub, ping pong, pool, darts, 6 bedrooms, each with full baths, etc etc, you get the picture
-Weather in the 80's-90's during the day and 70's at night
-Trip to this GORGEOUS lake and cruising in a nice boat (and tubing too!)
-Beach
-Racing the GTP in the 1/4 (beat a GT, LS1, LT1 and lost to a race car of sorts)
-Crispy Creme's everywhere!
-Got to see 3 BEAUTIFUL sunrises and 2 AMAZING sunsets on my trips.
Why it stinks being home:
-Z is covered in crap, GTP is covered in SPLATTED bugs
-Ton's of laundry to do (GF was nice enough to do it for me)
-Bills to pay
-School Monday
-GF is 950 miles away
-Weather isn't as nice
I guess the short story is it stinks to be back from vacation and back to reality! Was cool to not have to worry about bills for a few. Ah well, guess I should sleep and stop whining! I really did miss my family, dogs, and friends though! Will be nice to catch up with all you F-body guys too, they were in short supply in SC and most in NC were V6, with a million GT's and SRT-4's running around! And most close to stock with no wild mods done. Definitely miss the scene around here.

Yeah, new england sucks. I want out ASAP when I get out of school. NC/SC is where I want to be, for the reasons you describe. I can't imagine it going 1 week without raining (and if it does the weekend is crap, like it is NOW).
It will suck leaving friends behind, but I'll tell the bastages to come down here.

Gene-I'm always around Dodge Hall and Krentzman Quadrangle. Don't usually stray much farther except to the library for reasearch/HW. Lemme know if you want to meet up. I have a silver 96Z, though it has never graced NEU's campus.
