Some of my polishing - Pics inside>

Here's some pics of my neighbors '01 GXSR 600 I polished over the past 2 weeks -

I did the frame, subframe, peg mounts (front and back), pipe, swingarm, rear caliper mount, a chain guard and a master cylinder gaurd.

And I also touched up a few things on my motor...I need to get a Corvette distributor cover so I can polished that too-

Not too bad for a kid huh.

I've been thinking about starting a little business doing polishing. Things like superchargers would be fairly easy for me. Just give me a few weeks because I want to finish my front wheels that I already started on. I just need to buy a bench grinder/polisher for $100 at Sears and I'll be all set.

Let me know what you guys think.

If its what I think it is, it shouldn't take me too long. Maybe a few days tops. Is this it, the aluminum peice going into the Throttle body? - Vortech Elbow

Jayman - I've been using the following steps

220 dry.
400 dry.
600 dry.
1000 wet.
1500 wet.
2000 wet.
Turtle Wax rubbing compound.
Turtle Wax polishing compound.
Tripoli on a buffing wheel.
White rouge on buffing wheel.
Red rouge on buffing wheel.

Then finally Eagle One aluminum polish with a rag. I would have taken closer pictures but I was using a Kodak one time use camera and it would look fuzzy If I went up close. To be honest, most of it came out looking like a mirror.
