I look for jobs when I visit my mother in Sarasota Florida and don't see anything that pay's.That is the only thing keeping me from moving down there

3 of my friends moved down there after high school. All of them are back up here because of jobs/$$.

I heard undertaker work is good though.

Jobs are actually not hard to find...if you have some type of educational paper in your hand....my brother works at a mayors in millenia mall, and he is making $70,000 a yr, and thats basically all commission...my brother n law makes just as much selling stuff...so technically its not hard finding a job...i worked at many places, and i was still well off...i pretty much have a job already set up making $25,000 a yr, and im sure caps94zodg, will find a painting company to work for and make decent money also...everything is cheaper down there to live...i lived there for 20 yrs...yeah i made more $$ up here in boston, but i was also less happy...the weather sucked, and the people are so rude, and they totally cant drive around here!!!! sorry Boston peeps....

Yes,but trades people make nothing due to there lax codes and liscensing laws.

I would make a 1/4 of what I make up here. That really blows.
The people are alot nicer down there and cost of living is cheap, but my car hobby costs the same.
Maybe I'll visit next July and see if I can take the summer heat.
