Question Next dyno day?

Hey Dean,

when is the next NEDT f-body dyno day gonna be? I've heard that its supposed to be Oct 12th, is that correct?

I just want to make sure that I'm not doing anything that day b/c I'm pissed that I missed the last one..... hopefully this time we'll have some of the big guns there (and running) to duke it out

Jay,
Your little metal dude looks like he's going to Kibby

My Z runs the streak ended at 414 days as I drove my Z on Saturday It's still got a few lingering issues but I'm sure "Dyno Dean" will take care of me and square them away.

Mark,
How did you end up doing at the track? Did you break into the 11's??
5-liter-eater, dont worry your LS1 rebuild is in good hands - you will be happy plus I will make sure you get your motor back before Rob's
What do you guys think of the weekend of October 19th for a dyno day? Maybe possible Sunday 10/20 as it is the Pats by week!
I also have some slots open on Saturday, Sept. 28th if anyone is interested!

Thanks guys,
Dean

Mark,
Sorry I missed ya.

I'm planning on going to the track tonight.

Dean,
I'm up for the 19th or 20th, Sunday would work for me seeing how it's a by-week.

There are no good tuning/dyno places near me. I've never done a dyno day at NEDT, but would love to come down and whip up my baby on the rollers on the 19th-20th. Can you give me more information anyone? (time be be there, stuff to bring, costs, tips, advice, stuff to do beforehand etc) How do you guys tune cars and what might I see from the following car with stock tuning:

so far: SLP shorty headers/loudmouth catback, meziere electric water pump

but by then she should have better plugs, better coil, better wires, new fuel filter, CAI, 1.6rr and new springs, low thermostat, and a fan switch. Also new shocks/struts and springs because my stockers are rancid.

Speaking of fan switch... I'd still like the fans re-programmed to come on at 180. I'm guessing you guys can do that as well?

I'm interested, try and get as many mods done before then as i can! (maybe even a cam if I get a bonus from work!)

I'm up for the weekend of Oct. 19/20. Maybe this time I can post numbers better than a mildly modded LS1

Geoff, you're more than welcome to attend. Usual cost is $65 or $75 for as many pulls as you need(no tuning on dyno days). W/B is an additional $15. Always a good time Barbeque, 'entertainment', good company, awesome cars.
Marc(1st and Goal) is the long distance guy right now (N.H.)
Usually start at 8:30ish. Hope to see you there

Cost will be the usual $65 with only $10 for air/fuel. And as always you get as many pulls as you need plus our world famous BBQ with chef Marc as well as a raffle with prizes as yet to be determined.
Geoff,
Would be great top have you join us, but typically tuning is not done on Dyno Days but we should be able to help you out a bit anyway.
I am looking at Sunday, Oct. 20th but I will keep everyone updated!

Thanks all,
Dean

19/20th sounds good to me, especially since as Marc mentioned its a bye week

I'm most likely going to be bringing a few friends to show them what some real hp cars look like (one's interested in getting a 3rd gen and one is an import guy)

I'm definately looking forward to the world famous bbq and of course we can't forget the entertainment..... Dean we gonna go through the same place as before?

I think I'll be in Philly for a wedding that weekend. No big loss though, I really dont have a reason to dyno again.
