13.2@106.8

It was running way rich, 970s. I was going to lean it out 4% but it started raining so I only got 1 run in. Its still pulling 2-3 degrees of timing and for whatever reason kicks the timing from 27 to 20.

Still needs work....

DEAN,

I just got my car back (mods are listed below). Ed wright did my computer reprograming. The car runs great and idils great but its running a little rich. sometimes when i get off the gas or switch gears from 3rd to 4th i get a little noise out the exhaust from the raw gas. (high speeds it runs awesome).

I was wondering if you could check it at this next dyno day by adjusting the aeromotove fuel regulator.

if its program related can you do a few runs with it on the dyno and give me a print out so i can send the info and my computer to ed wright to do the fine tuning on the computer.

if this is not a problem pls sign me up for your dyno day. pls put me down for the earliest appointment you have. i tried to register on your website but my computer at work would not let me.

thanks dennis

Dennis: Make sure that Ed will reprogram based on the dyno information. My experience with Ed was that he never responded when I asked for help based on logged runs. I hope your experience is different.

THANKS,

i called there this morning and ask the person who answered the phones at fastchips and he said that would not be a problem.

(ill tell yeah the program is very close for not having the car their in front of him.)

the poping only happens at certain points like in between shifts or if i give it gas and then release the gas pedal ill get a little pop once in a while, not all the time. it tends to happen when its hotter out and at lower speeds.

its just seems to be getting to much gas. maybe the fuel presure is set to high because it is definately running rich.(thats better than lean). at an idile its currently around 45-47 psi.

other than that it runs pretty good. you can feel the difference in horspeower from driving it in the am when its cool and when its 90 degrees. its like 2 different cars.

unfortunately i think the mustang might be faster. maybe after we dial the camaro in a little better things will change. the mustang seems to be quicker 0-60 but the camaros torque really comes in after 60 and powers you down the road.

thanks

dennis

Well it seems that I will see any of you who do make the trek to NED. It turns out that my kids like the hoopty cars so I'll sign up for the et portion of that event. Feel free to stop by and say hi; I'll be pitted just past the top end stands.
See you there.

Well it seems I won't be there after all today. Seems the tranny just couldn't wait to be pulled so it stopped shifting; go figure. Figures it would be in 3rd rd with only .012 dif at the tree between us and car running very consistant. Oh well. See you all at the nat'ls or on either Sat or Sun of Labor day if anyone goes to it.
