Post NEDT dynoed a 2003 Cobra..Watch out...

It dynoed with 500 miles, 351 rwhp.
It came in again with 2900 miles with a cat back exhaust, a K&N cold air filter kit, and a Ford Lightning Pulley. it dynoed at 433rwhp.

He also took me for a ride in it, it was damn impressive, and it handled pretty good.

wow... 433 at the wheels on a 30k car with what could only be 500-1000 in mods... thats quite impressive

Stock boost is about 8lbs, so how much more does the lightening pulley get you? my guess is around 12psi maybe

Thumbs up

Hey Rob,

That was me! This just cross-posted from Corvetteforum.com and I found my way here.

So, not bad for a blue-oval huh? I'll see you guys again on Saturday morning, 8AM, to test out a new product.

Cheers,

Mark

P.S. Say hi to Marc for me.

Uncle Marc here

I have to agree with Rob as I too went for a spin in the BlueOvalMobile and it definatly got with the program

Fastest Ford I've ever been in!

It did handle real well, when we took the off-ramp I'm thinking to myself "might want to slow down guy" but the thing just stuck like glue around the corner.

Mark,
We'll hook up on Saturday as I'll be there.

Hey Uncle Marc,

Well, a buddy of mine sent me a Diablo Sport chip for my '03 that should "knock my socks off". They're claiming that a car with mods similar to mine made 497rwhp/514rwtq only difference being long-tubes. So, I'm hoping for around 460rwhp/tq or so. Long tubes are next on the batting order though.

See you in the AM. Now, get that blower install done!

Cheers,

Mark

Wow, I didn't think this post would have gotten around like it did but that great that your here, even though you have a Blue Oval. I'll be there Sat. morning to help you out. If you don't have any plans we have a Camaro/Firebird event later in the morning so you can stay and hang out.

I wonder if there will be any Camaro/Firebird that can put down more power than the 03 Cobra on Saturday!

Maybe if your Mechanic knew how to build an engine it wouldn't have blown up

Marc and Rob,

Well, it's 11:30pm and I just finished the most ghetto gauge install so that I can see how much boost I'm making and what my EGTs are tomorrow. Wait until you see this butcher job....

Now all I have to do is get up at 5:30am, pull the PCM and put in the flip-chip, and head down there. The tuner tells me I should be hitting 475rwhp minimum with one of the programs. We'll see!!

Cheers,

Mark

P.S. Before the Blue Ovals, I owned a 2000 C5 Coupe so I'm all about things that go fast and I could give a $hit who puts their name on them.......well, as long as their not RICE!!!
