It would matter on what you want for tuning.LT1 edit would be more $$ than just running the car on the Dyno.Give Dean a call and tell him what you need. Most shops are around $60-$80 for 3-4 runs or $100 an hour for ussing the Dyno.

I BELIEVE it's $100/hour for the tune plus $70 an hour for the dyno (or the other way around) so it's $170/hour.........

The pricing Slowhawk stated is correct. That is our standard pricing but, like most shops, we have arrangements with frequent customers and shops.
TNTHUB said it best, please call or email us directly for pricing.
If its a car we need to burn a custom chip for it is obviously more than $100. If you have a FAST system or Accell DFI, again its more as this is specialized tuning. If its a maftranslator or something similar it would be part of the $100. If we are using LT1 edit or LS1 edit it would run more. If its carburated, it depends on the type of carburator, but the price may vary. Since there are so many variables it is best to call and get pricing for your particular application.

I will add two more cents.

I know it sounds expensive, but what you are asking for requires skill and skill costs money. The time, training, and effort put forth by the people at New England Dyno has a cost attached to it. It took these people a long time to learn their craft and a sizeable investment in facilities and tools. You get what you pay for. These are some of the finest folks I have met in the automobile industry.

Ok,I never stated that it was too much.I need lt1 edit.I have pcmforless tuning, but we all know the most you can get out of tuning is a dyno tune. Most guys I see here on the board with hotcam,1.6,headers,160%,exhaust work, cai are all hitting around 310-320@ the wheels(thats what I've been seeing).Unless thy're lying Im about 25-30 horse less than the greater!!!Dyno'd 295rwhp-305 rwtq at Mike Dez' shop.He didn't have software to tune from so all he could tell me was A/F was really rich!

Matter's on what mods you have and future mods to figure what tuning you want.A MAFT is good for most boltons. If your going with a Cam/Heads then LT1 edit should be used.

I'll chime in too with what happened to me.

I dyno'ed 305 HP/325 TQ with hotcam and full exhaust (AS&M headers....)I was upset at this, but it was a stock tune. With PCMforless, an air foil and the LT4 KM I dyno'ed 316/330....that's respectable and what I thought I should get.

I'm getting my heads in (Dean....give me a call I've been trying to contact you about the swap)and I'l gonna see my #s and talk to Dean about tuning. At the last dyno day he was VERY truthful with me and said I might just wanna do PCMforless again if I wanted because he might not be able to gain enough to justify the cost....

GUYS!!!!

I already have the hotcam,1.6rr,160% stat,Full exhaust...headers-highflow cat-3"cat-back,Moroso cai,PCMFORLESS tuning.

My next step would be p-p heads.Right now I dyno'd 295rwhp 305rwtq.Most guys I see running the same mods are in the 310-325 rwhp with proper tuning i.e. dyno tune!!!!!

I was just inquiring what their going rate for dyno tuning with lt1 edit!It wasn't about the price being too much or any of that.Just a simple inquiry about rates!

BTW...What is the MAFT all about???????

What headers you got? If they arent atleast 1 3/4" primaries then I dont see you getting the extra 20-30rwhp that the other guys get. The other guys run LT's or atleast SLP/AS&M headers.

I dont know if you'll get that much, but you should get some significant gains especially with a cam. I would say 20rwhp is reasonable over 1 5/8" shorties that you got.
