NASCAR 300 in NH 7/25
We went to the NASCAR Siemens 300 race at Loudon, NH yesterday - this was the first time I've been to a NASCAR race, so I didn't know what to expect! They have a really nice track now compared to what they used to have is what I've heard. It was a really good time! --- and I got a great tan!
Winners ---
1 #97 Kurt Busch
2 #24 Jeff Gordon
3 #12 Ryan Newman
4 #17 Matt Kenseth
5 #20 Tony Stewart
Anyone from here go???

On my way to New England Dragway the service area on the Maine turnpike was filled with NASCAR folks. They could not quite understand why I was heading to the dragstrip since NASCAR was in town.
Sounds like a great time. If I had not had a points race I would have been there too.

Second year in a row for me. Awesome time, except for the fact that my driver, Rusty, got taken out by the big brown truck with less than 10 laps to go.
He was running 8th.
To top it off, I had a whole new perspective as I was ON the track July 2nd because my wife gave me The King's Experience from Richard Petty's Driving Experience for a 10th anniversary gift. I got to zip around the track 18 times in a slightly detuned Cup car.
Don't get me wrong... I love drag racing, but there's nothing like the g-forces from taking a left turn at over 100mph.
