Talking My car is ALMOST running :)

Yep it's almost there...

Engine is in, everything is hooked up. Today me and my dad took out the MAF screens, installed the Hypertech chip, my cap & wires, and we're in the process of mounting my Y pipe and cat.

It should fire up Friday if things go as planned, only got a few minor things to do, then I'm all set. Just figured I'd update everyone since this board is going kinda slow...

Well, a couple hours ago at 7:00pm it fired up. Runs like its brand new and I'm loovving the sound of my cam. For those of you that have never built your own engine and fired it up.. its an unbeleivable feeling when it starts...

I'll see you guys around probably at NEDyno in the Spring when it hits 2000 miles. See ya

BadIroc- Looks like your car has a nice setup. I'll see you at the Summer Nats this coming year. Look for the red '87 Z28 with open headers and a polished TPI intake on it.

I also got some stickers on my air intake duct (Comp Cams, Hypertech, MSD, Silv-O-Lite pistons, Edelbrock, etc) so you'll probably recognize my car. Hopefully the motor will be broken in by then.

See Ya
