mustangs retired for the winter...

The mustang is gone for the winter. I just got the call the heater core is shot. The part is cheap but you have to pull the dashboard out.

so im going to replacing the P.O.S. oil pan that is on there. dont ever buy a chrome oil pan. its leaked since the first day i got it. since i have to drop the k member to switch it....
i decided to put a whole new tubular k member, coil overs, a arms for it. it was only $499 for it. cant beat that

(dont understand why these guys just did not call him, instead of paying more.)

at least i have a place to store my car for the winter without paying.

lets hope the camaro has no problems.

I had to replace the heater core in my 86 AC Stang and it was a royal PITA. Yes, the WHOLE dash needs to be removed, the AC evacuated, etc. Took me 7 hours.

Non ac cars, you just need to remove the glove box and it is right there.

mrgto you are right. changing the heater core is a bitch. ed has done so many of them he can get it out with not actually taken the whole dash out. he said about 3 hours which is not bad. the part is about $90

chevy94c i figure with this kit and the battery in the trunk i should save easily 100 pds off the front end from stock.

what a awful day out. i have to go to the cape and help my girlfriends parents close the house up. boy doesnt that sound like fun.....
