Cool Marc...

Are you getting excited yet? Your car looks like it should be rolling out under its own power very soon.
Good Luck!

Marc's car being done soon?
Nah I don't believe it.
Well it did move today from one garage bay to the next, so I guess it it getting closer to running.

Atleast there is now room so I can put my car in there.

Rob

Hi Folks,

Just got back from New England Dragway for a Test & Tune session. Made four runs today on stock Goodyear F1's. The track prep was FREAKIN' OUTSTANDING today. My last run I slipped the clutch out at 3500rpm and spun for maybe about 5 feet before the car grabbed like a ****.

This is my second time EVER running a car at a drag strip (the first being two weeks ago). I know you are not going to believe this BUT I pulled a 1.80 60' on the stock Goodyear F1's and I'm totally amazed. Check out the timeslips here:

http://www.mafterburner.com/top_page_1.htm

My car made 442rwhp/429rwtq SAE last time on the chassis dyno of NEDT.

Here is the executive summary:

12.609 @ 115.43mph w/2.159 60'
12.541 @ 111.25mph w/2.082 60' (missed 4th gear)
12.211 @ 115.40mph w/1.884 60'
12.096 @ 116.99mph w/1.802 60'

My fourth run, I reduced fuel pressure in my midrange by 5% using the Afterburner-eFPC, the car sat for almost 3 hours between 3rd and 4th runs, and the temperature dropped probably 10 degrees F. RESULT: MPH went up by 1.59mph.

Hey Marc, Rob, and Dean, I'm getting better!!!!!

Cheers,

Mark Chiappetta

Nice Job! Sounds like 11's are in your future. I'm guessing the track was still sticky from the national event last weekend.
Cool

Well, this is only my 2nd time drag racing EVER but other guys there were saying that the track was like "glue".
