LT1-Edit

Anyone have a LEGAL copy of LT1 Edit not being used or a LEGAL version for multiple users?

what exactly are you asking????

we at EAST SIDE PERFORMANCE are looking into getting Lt1 edit due to customer demand
it works off the same principle as ls1 edit each cable is vin locked and can only work on one car

we may look into getting unlimited Lt1 edit if demand increases

I have sent correspondence to Carputing but have not heard anything back. It isn't that they are slow, its just that my needs are more immediate.

I am just looking for a legal copy of software. I know there are multi license versions available, or perhaps someone had a copy of LT1-Edit and have moved to an LS1 product.

My car is running rich and I am in the LT1-LS1 Shootout this coming Monday and was looking to cut a deal.

well if someone had one for their car it wont work on your car the cable is vin locked and will not work on another car
and if a shop had unlimited edit they could do your a/f adjustments for you

usually a tune with lt1/ls1 edit is about $550 with dyno time included

a copy of the software could be found but with out the vin cable it is useless

I guess I am showing my ignorance. I thought the cable was something that could be made up or purchased separately. I thought I would need a VIN/Unlock code that I could obtain by purchasing the software. I'm a geek during the day and most software I know can be legally sold.

I have a wonderful facility that is willing to help with the tuning but I need to provide the software. I can make cables and have a laptop. The PCM was programmed by Ed Wright originally whose work I like and he has been very good to me over the years. I just don't have much time for this to happen.

Heck, I can go and spew put black smoke, and get through this ok. I just thought if there were an opportunity to make a better impression for GM High Tech Performance I would do so. I have been reluctant to go quicker anyway because 12.0 is the lowest I can dial in Street ET but this looked like the time to go for it so I figured I would ask.

Unless you worked out some deal with Ed Wright he locked your computer with a code only he can open.
He locks his tunes. So you would need to flash the computer at the dealership and then have it tuned all over again.

you should get a spare computer for your car with a different tune for all out HP, so that the computer you have is good for the bracket racing you do, then on days like this coming week you put the other computer in with a max HP tune.

That makes a lot of sense. My understanding is that mine is not locked, but I could be wrong.

Ed Wright does lock his programs so you cant mess with it

go dyno your car with the wideband air/fuel graph and send it back to him for a update
he usually charges $150 for updates i think call him and see
maybe you can overnight it to him
