I have been collecting parts for my 98 LS1 Trans-am for awhile now so that I can fix it long enough to throw it on ebay.

I thought I was ready to go. I have a rebuilt tranny and a y-pipe with cats so It will pass emissions. All that needs to be done is for the stuff to get put in. My buddy Randy is doing me a huge favor and started putting them in for me today.

Last Friday I had my brother take the car to the tire shop to have the Blizzacks taken off and 2 used Kuhmo's from last year put on and 2 new ones that I had them order me.

So I stop over to Randys and see how its going, I start looking at the tires and then notice the wheels are CRACKED! WHAT THE ****! Can anything just not get messed up on this car for 1 week!!!

How in the world did they manage to do this to 3 of the 4 rims. Look at this pics.

Obviously I can't sell this POS with the wheels like this. They are chrome and its hard to tell from the pics but the wheels looked cracked, not just chrome coming off or whatever.

So now I have to deal with the tire place, I'm sure that it going to be a "We didn't do that" type of thing.

I HATE this car and it knows it.

 

I got an idea, let's gut mine and pay someone to ram "accidentally" burn them both

 

I'll burn them for ya lol no problem at all. but on another note just get plain silver rims for 100 bucks and sell the car fast before it does something even worst like throw a rod or spin a bearing.

 

Where do I get 4 rims for $100 bucks?

 

look around poeple sell the plain silver t/a rims without tires for 50 bucks for two fine two sellers and boom your good to go.

bro I got my 2001 z28 rims with like 3000 miles on them, there yours for 100 bucks for all four. Was selling them for 200 but I would rather get you out of a jam, I dont need them. Let me know.
