Question How many Z's is too many ??

Well, I'm up to 2 1/2 now as I picked up an LS-1 yesterday (I figure "the Cav" only count's as a 1/2 a Z)

www.geocities.com/marc94z/ls1.html

Why you ask

A) tired of chasing gremlins on the 94
B) should have done this 2 years ago when I blew up the other one
C) see "A"

Haven't give up on the old girl as it's a love/hate relationship but **** it "the cav" is not cutting the mustard as a daily driver and I'm not getting any younger.

It's nice to have something that doesn't rattle and make all kinds of noise and drives smooth. Hell it feels like it screams as I've never really gotten on "the 94" (as it will forever be referred to from now on ) with the new combo.

It's got chrome wheels, leather, t-tops all the good options, has a lid and flowmaster catback, otherwise it's stock and going to remain that way!! I would not put a blower on this car if someone gave me one.......not that I regret putting the blower on the 94 but I've already got one race car / money pit and am looking forward to having a driver.

Looking forward to taking it to New England's premier dyno and tuning facility (www.nedyno.com) and seeing what the old girl (err new girl ) is made of

Marc

bout time you grew up and got a ls1 j/k nice purchase and once you get the 94 all set you can now strip it and make it a full race car.

Thanks guys

Thought I'd get similar responces out of the LS-1 crowd but I must have offended the "old school" LT-1 boys as none of them have responded Geez.....

Still adjusting to life back in the USA, woke up at 1 am last night and just sat there....hode hode ho

My84Z,
Yup, that thought had crossed my mind. Hell it'll only cost me $80 for a 20# pulley

Somehow it just doesn't seem right that you can spend the same amount of money for a whole car as you can spend on a long block:

Marky Mark....you've been busy!!! It's Bill with the green Vortech Z....or should I say used to have the green Z....it's long gone now.

Picking up my new ride today too....87 Grand National....it has a 160 thermostat and will probably run low 11s if I can learn how to tune it....maybe even a high 10 if miracles happen.

The 94 not going well? It looks like you have a few new parts on it that's for darn sure!!! Talk to you later...hope everything else is going well.

Whats done to the car? GN's are fun but remember they are NOT V8s. Anything that you do to a V8 will make a GN run like crap.

Good Luck
