what a great game last night against the DEVIL RAYS...they are pitiful....both the sox and the rays s*ck it up hardcore. it gets me so aggravated....

They only have 4 good players on there team. Nomar, Shea, Pedro and Manny

They have all these fill in players. They have like 5 1st baseman. Why don't they get 1 all star 1st baseman. Get rid of this

all of you are out of your minds. I love the Sox, always have and always will. I'm not anywhere near pleased with the beginning of this season, but we do have a very talented team that could do some big things.

with that said, GO SOX!!!

 

i love the sox too, but they always find a way to suck hardcore...look at the 1st 2 games against the RAYS, its still the 1st 2 games but still...what a horrible showing so far.

Did you forget Lowe won 21 games last yr? Did you forget Mendoza? How bout Johnny Damon? dont make a comment if you dont follow the sport well enough...how bout varitek? rough year after breaking his elbow but u could argue he's a top 5 catcher in baseball....Now not once did I say they were better then the yankees, which they are not...but they def have more then 4 good players...and of the 4 players u named I would never put shea ahead of damon mendoza or lowe

 

JP i do fallow them. Johnny damon is average center fielder. He is not a Andrew Jones or Mike Cameron. Derrick lowe almost got thrown out of boston a couple years ago. He had 21 wins but had alot of run support almost 5 runs a game. Pedro woulda won every game with that run support. I dont think the yankees woulda let Mendoza go if he still a good pitcher.

Jason V is a good catcher but i would rather have Javy Lopez or Ivan Rodriquez. Pulls he gets hurt ALOT.

Shea is out there everyday playing his *** off. He was a minor leaguer 2 years ago. Now is one of the better 3rd baseman in the american leaque.

I do watch all sports alot. The soxs have one of the higher payrolls in baseball & not much to show for it. Probly one of the crappest ball parks in baseball. They need a new stadium to stay with the yankees.

I am not a yankees fan, but at the end of season they are always in the world series.

Tek is a hell of a ballplayer, I will take him over most of the catchers out there for the simple fact that he goes out there and plays his heart out every game. Yeah he was out w/ his elbow for a while, but I think he has shown that he is quite healthy.

Yeah the fact that Fenway is the oldest park in baseball does kinda suck, but NO WHERE ELSE will you find a ballpark like it. Its not just the field, its the environment that goes along with it. Believe me I would love to see a new fenway, but don't go saying that we won't be able to do anything w/o a new park, thats absurd.

Yeah how about last year, they sure did well in the world series.... or how about the year before

The Yankees are not invincible. We have a HELL of a ballclub with a lot of players who really want to be here playing for this team.
I've been a Red Sox fan all 23 years of my life, every year I feel the same heartache when they fall short..... but I still love them. They will do fine this year, with the talent we have anything is possible.

the curse of The Babe....maybe they can clone The Babe, bring him back, have him play for the sox, and maybe just maybed then they can win a world series. i'd like to see them win at least 1 world series b4 i die...
