Whatever you do, don't go to AutoWorks in Stoneham, MA... They quoted me $600 for headers to be put in, they charged me $1300 and ****ed up my opti too. The Attorney General doesn't do ****.

Isnt that in seekonk? Only reason im looking for someplace close is cause dont you have to drive like 10miles then let the gears cool down then drive more or whatever to break in the gears?

Alot of GM dealer's won't touch anything aftermarket. Plus you'll get charged up the ***.

I would stay far away from GM dealers.

Whats good with the dealers is if something happens you blame the service and get it replaced If they don't fix it they know you'll run up and down the street with a sign saying how much they suck...and they don't want that.

That's what I used to think, but if you have anything after-market put in, they will bitch, and then blame the poor labor on the after-market part when something goes wrong. Paid 700$ for them to dick around not realizing just to use a 97+ harness for my taillights. I replaced the harness within 10 minutes.. For $10... Then theres the time I paid $150 for them to misdiagnose a problem. Claiming it was a plug wire, well i replaced the wire, and i scanned it myself, it was the opti. Keep in mind these were two different dealerships. I don't want them to stick it in your *** without lube like they did with me. By the way here they are
Lannan Chevrolet (Malden, MA)
Liberty Chevrolet (Wakefield, MA) Here they didn't fix the lights, and refused to pass me for a sticker because the lights didn't work... Well I argued for over an hour and I got my sticker...

Re: gears? Northshore?

Davidson in Malden is horrible, took 3 times for pinion seal not to leak (3rd time they decided to tell me I needed a new yolk, they did it for free, I paid wholesale for part was all) and North Shore Buick Pontiac GMC in Melrose/Malden line sucks as well.
