bfg tires. do you know if they will fit on a 17x9 rim. or do you have to have a 17x11.

if so i can get them this weekend. i dont think you are to far from boston? i guess i can always see if they will fit on a 17x9 rim

BFG recommends 11.00" to 12.00" rims. Whether or not they actually fit on something smaller I do not know. Rule of thumb is plus or minus one inch is the acceptable range of variance.

A link to the specsis here (you need acrobat):http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/asset...rag_radial.pdf

i have 275's on my mustang with an 8 inch rim. i think tire companies just say that to be safe. id rather have an 11inch rim but im not sure i want to spend another $500 in rims. i guess i can always try them for the hell of it.

thanks dennis

they will fit but the rubber will be how can i explain it rounded at the apex instead of a flat contact patern. or in another words less then your 275 will be touching the ground.
