My old bolt-on 97 A4 ran a best of 13.01 at 103.7 with 1.70 60 ft.

My new(used) bone stock 2001 ran a 13.58 at 102.38 with 2.088 60 ft. Slightly dissappointed, although the car was still warm from the 90 min trip up.

Second run was more pleasing, after some cooling and a drop in temp:
13.411 at 103.73 with 2.033 60 ft. I had 93 octane in the car, but sounded like the car was pinging, unless that was piston slap(not sure).

All in all, I'm pleased.

I have the same car, ran times in sig first time out.

It was probably piston slap, our cars are famous for it.

I take it that you have an M6 with that 107 MPH? Or was that an A4 time with the new lid and exhaust? Great run either way.

Yeah, A4 with lowly 2.73's.. But yes that was with lid+cat-back. Never had a chance to run it bone stock.

Your times are not bad at all considering the weather. DA has been killer lately, but come November or so, should be perfect for some good runs again. Generally during my summer runs I was about 13.4-13.6's...
