Finally arrived at Hanscom AFB today!
Well, I'm finally in town. I'm probably going to be busy tomorrow but if anyone wants to get together somewhere during the week or next weekend I'm game.

cool, I do all my work on my car at Hanscom
make sure you stop by the auto hobby shop and get to know the guys in there, TONs of knowledge and usually willing to lend a hand
oh yeah and theres a bunch of sick cars that are in and out of there, usually owned by the "regulars"

Welcome to the area. I'm a civ that works at Lincoln Labs on the base. My car is currently down for a rebuild, I hope to have it going this fall.
I have used the hobby shop on the base, for inspections mostly, and have not been impressed by some of the guys that work there. Ed was very friendly, but a couple of the other guys seemed to have attitude problems - like they wanted my car to fail emissions.... Kept telling me I would never pass with long tube headers, etc. But I did.

yeah they can be moody there but all of them are really good guys once you get to know them.
I've been going there since I got my license (I'm 23 now) and we all know the luck that I've had with my car......so I know them all pretty well
I'll be there at least one day this week to put my new rear end in, I'll be the one swearing at the black camaro on the lift for being a pain in my a$$

Maybe you could tell them the guy with the black 96 Ram Air is alright. I am due for inspection this month but don't think I'm going to have the engine running until September. I am not scheduled for emissions this year, just safety, and am hoping just because I go late they don't get to redo emissions.
