I have a pair of used drag radials in my driveway.... You never know how much younger you feel when you look down that strip for the first time. If you want to use them I'll prep them up with some VHT...

Thats cool. My experience with the stock rear is it is good for at least 400 passes on a sticky track (I broke mine twice after 400 passes each time), plus about 30,000 miles between breaks so i'm not worried. plus, I won't be doing any major launches as it is your car.

The transmission is rock solid in these things... I had well over 1500 passes on mine when I sold traded the tranny to the guy who installed the roll bar. He put it in a street rod and it is still going today.

It just seems like a fun day at the track. We want to be there at the opening time so we can get the two time trials so we have a chance in eliminations. Not that I'm expecting to win with no passes this season and a car that is strange to me, but my first win ever was at Camaro Day in 1998 when i beat Don Larusso in the final round (He was Street Champion that year at New England Dragway). Hey, if we get a couple of first times in the early rounds you never know...

The other nice thing is you will find out what your car can really do, plus I will bring my weather station so you have an accurate basis for comparison if you want to try it again sometime.

I want to race tomorrow in the all day test sessions or whatever it is. What time do i have to be there to sign up to race, and how much is it? Im not finding exactly what i need on their website.

Re: F-Body Day Oct 8th NED

I normally get there when the gates open so I have time to get through tech, change tires, clean up the car, have some coffee, and am not stressed about making it to the first time trial. I think gates open at nine.

LastZ just told me he has to work.... So now I need either a car to drive or to get my shifter working properly....

Test Session, Dan Page Race Cars Quick Rod Series, Hot Rod Race, Top Bike Series, plus Ocean State Performance Quick Street - gates open at 8 AM
Do you still have to do time trials if your doing the test session, or are the time trials for the other racers only?

I also dont own a helmet because I've had no reason to yet because I have not raced yet. Think anyone up there would let me borrow one when I need it?
