Does this event replace the "Camaro Day"?? Just wondering if it does or not, hopefully my car will be race ready by then if the money and time is there so I can send it to Dean for some tuning!

I don't have the flyer in my hand yet, I should have it any day now, they sent me a box of them. As far as I know this event does in fact replace Camaro day. Have you folks had problems with their Camaro day. I want to make sure that this event is for the f-body folks and I will do everything I can to make it run well.
-----Dean, thanks as always for your support. Maybe we can put together a special event f-body dyno day the weekend before, to prep folks???

last year the "Camaro heaven" day at NED was nothing more than adding 2 more categories to their schedule for the day
camaro street and camaro drag (based on the tires you had)
I got royally screwed that day b/c when i went to sign in they put me under the wrong category and I ended up being stuck in test and tune w/ a bunch of 9 second guys running no exhaust, etc..... and they wouldn't let me change categories for any reason
I hope they don't allow the test and tune people to run on this day because it took up WAY too much time during a day that was supposed to be for camaros

They will not be receptive to not having a TT day. That Sunday is a points meet plus Quick Rod is running on Sunday as well. Those guys tow up for the entire weekend and pay some pretty steep entry fees to race.
sounds like fun. i would deffinately like going there. i might even take some runs. hopefully my car wont still b stock. maybe i can rob a bank....any1 wanna rob a bank w/ me, we can split it 50 50???comon i know some1 wants to....let me know when u know more info please.

Whats wrong wth sharing the strip with real race cars? I drive my car on the street and at the track. When there are fast cars at the track the prep is better and the track is more consistent. I would rather spend the day with race than I would following some guy who is dragging dirt down the track.
At the Vette Viper Shootout, those guys had their own lanes and their own schedule. The track treated them well and the rest of us waited in line most of the day. I don't see the problem here.
Maybe there is something we can learn from people who have more invested in simply racing that we do in our rides. I do know that I don't think it would be fair to ask the track to not lete these guys who have $50,000-$200,000 tied up with their stuff to not run because a bunch of Camaros with street tires are showing up. Wednesday and Friday are street tie only nights. The traction is so horrible I cannot go on those nights and I have a street car.
