emptied my radiator onto rt 20....
So I'm coming home from work, I'm very close to my house in fact. I'm in Northborough, just turning off Otis street onto rt 20. I decide to gun it up the hill (like I usually do).
The car feels weird in the top of 1st and when I shift hard to second, the car just spins quietly. I think to myself "thats odd" and frantically search my instrument cluster for a clue as to why that happened. However, the biggest clue is the wide slick of coolant I'm leaving on the ground behind me.
I can already smell coolant in the air, and start to figure out at what point I can coast home from, or where would be a good spot to pull over and await a little help. The temperature rises steadily... past 210 as i turn onto my street, give it one last goose of throttle, and kill the motor before something bad happens.
I turn on my flashers, and manage to coast the 1/4 mile + into my driveway, where she now awaits new coolant, and my lazy *** fixing the hose that came off.
An interesting side note, is the hose connection that came apart, was a legacy of the supercharger install, and shouldnt have really been left that way in the first place. ugh.

at least you made it home and it wont cost to much to fix. for some reason when something breaks on my car its usually $500 and i have to have it towed. i hope i did not just jink myself. good luck dennis..
she was fixed within hours, for the price of some coolant and a couple minutes under the car...
when i uninstalled the supercharger, I left that hose rerouted and extended, the way they tell you to. The plastic piece you use to splice the hoses together is a little melty and deformed. Methinks it cant handle heat well, warped, and allowed the hoses to slip off.
