The dynoday was fun. I think Dennis was the only one to get more hp than the vipers. Marc did a great job as he always does. I have a couple videos of Dennis Z28(king of the dyno day). I will post them later.

It was pretty fun, nice to meet some of you guys by the way. I liked the vipers, but I only got to see a couple F-body's since me and my brother had to leave early. That 35th SS with the Loudmouth sounded bad a$$.

I wish I coulda seen Dennis' car on the dyno, how much HP was he making??

Later guys

Another excellent dyno day / barbaque hosted by Dyno Dean

Thanks Mike, I thought you liked it as I do recall you eating rather well.

As far as the Vipers go......bet no-one except me saw the red Shelby Viper sitting broken down on the side of 495

Good to meet the new guys and as always a pleasure to see the regulars.

Dennis,
Nice ride, good to meet you

yes another great day at NEDT, thanks to Dean, Rob, and of course Jeff..... and chef marc brought his "A" game today

So 2 vipers broke today..... I feel so bad for them
One with nitrous problems and the other with God knows what sort of problem

It was great meeting a lot of the names that I've talked to so many times, as is always the really great things about these gatherings. I'm waiting for that special event this winter dean

Definately a great time and I hope more people can make it next year
oh and I found out today that my car was known all over the internet, dunno if thats a bad thing or a very bad thing............

it was a blast! FWIW there was that blue LT1 Z28 that ran somethign like 440 RWHP on the bottle......that was better than 2 of the vipers from what i saw. so did that red viper REALLY break down or are we ASSUMING it was? for all we know he could have been on a cell call or something........

Yeah, it was a great time. Thanks to Dean once again.

Correction - the blue Z on the bottle is owned by my buddy Jim - he made 459 rwhp, 496 tq, running pig rich (< 10:1). He'll be getting a bottle heater (nitrous pressure was ~700 psi during the runs) and I also found afterwards that he set his afrp at 43.5 psi with the vac line on - pulled it off and it was about 50 psi - added to the richness. He was also in the 11:1's NA - still pulled 370. His goal is 500 rw on the spray. I think we'll be going back to Dean's for some tuning, assuming we can pass emissions at Hanscom this week!

People don't generally leave a perfectly good viper on the side of the road and I didn't see anyone walking so I don't know what happened to it but I do know that "The Cav" got me home in one piece

Well, we both failed on HC's. With my blower cam I thought I would pass, but my car sat for an hour and a half before they got around to putting it on the treadmill. Jim probably failed because he was running too rich. He is running an open loop program so the car has no way to correct. He might very well pass since they only give him the two speed idle test. His car has traction control; mine doesn't.

We need to get back to Hanscom this week for our retest. 60 days is just about up. Hopefully they are still doing inspections. Jay maybe you could answer this one. Sorry I didn't get to meet you yesterday.

Marc my fiance loved the burger. and i threw down about 3 doggers.

unlike the vipers i made it to spfld with no problem at all. .

Thanks dean,
for the great time. if it is true i was dyno king for a day. rummer has it I get a FREE tshirt or something (marc) not to point any fingers.

chevy94c please let me know when you get the video ready i would love to see it and hear it.

TunedPort 341 i made about 530rwh and 530 torque at 10psi of boost. that means i need to steal marcs blower since he is not using it. i wanted to get closer to 600 but the blower is maxed out. ill have to save my pennies for a bigger unit. blower i mean
