OK here's the story. Scott and I were leaving the Fairgrounds Friday (the 13th) to look for some chow. As we are traveling down the road (4:15 ish) a guy had stopped to turn left into his driveway (no fast or anything. He was not a fault at all he was a great help) he could no turn as there were on coming cars. So I stopped gently behing him. After what seemed like a 10 sec stop I hear squeeling brakes and a car approaching me real fast. So I try pull to the right somewhat (on to the grass) to make more room and to try to avoid getting hit. But it was too late BAM! he hits us. So I stop and tell Scott that he has to deal with this or I'm going to kill this guy. Scott gets out and says to the guy "This is her show car." After that I was still in the car cause I couldn't bare to bring myself out of the car. I get out and the guy who was making the left helped out. He took a full role of film for us. Wrote up a report and had his wife notarize (she is a notary/notarist.)

The state cop came and filled out a report. He verbally told me that I was clearly not a fault and the report will show that.

As for injuries:
Scott has a sore neck but thinks he will be fine.
I have a constant headache, neck and lower back pain (again). I went to the Dr.'s and got some Muscle relaxers to help with the pain.

Now the hard part is separation anxiety not having my car.

I did stay for the show due to the support from the club members. The people at the show were happy I came back, they felt bad for me as most knew my car didn't look like that on Friday. I got an award from Pep Boys cause the woman like my enthusiam on bringing it back to the show and putting the sign on my car. I also got an award for Talk of the Nationals. It was a fun time tho.

I hope I answered any and all questions. If I forgot just ask.

A BIG THANKS TO MY HUSBAND FOR HIS SUPPORT, AND THANK YOU TO JIM R, BOB F, GARY L, DAVE C, JOHN M AND THIER SPOUSES FOR MAKING ME STAY.

Dennis Barker from Berger Chevrolet brought me another license plate frame for my car. He left it in my car for me when I wasn't there.

Scott Settlemeyer gave me a print of a Camaro that was painted on vinyl. the car is the same color as mine. Both of those guys also helped make it nice for me.

Wow that stinks. Hope your back up and running soon. Two years ago my car got rear ended...by a damn Civic with the Maxwell House Coffee can muffler mod. Had to repress my desire to kill him in broad daylight! Took a couple of weeks to get my car back. Good luck!
