avge cost to change valve springs

Well, I certainly do not feel like changing out my springs...I developped a huge rattle in the number 6 intake or exhaust valve from the inner damper cracking in half So I'm wondering what you guys think the average cost is going to be. And I bought the 987-16 comp springs that have the same specs as the 986-16 "drop ins" except of course they are a little stronger, up to .600/. Thaks for the help guys..

Cost me 175.00. Should get her back tomorrow. I put the new Comp "r" lifters in and noticed that they love to shoot oil much more then the stockers. But I hate the fact that they are noisy little suckers though.

I hear ya the comp r's suck for ls1's unless your building a big cube motor. They are very nice for an lt1 though.

A place called Holy and Heck. Bunch of hispanics running around the shop. But they keep the place clean and usually that's the first thing I look for in a shop. Second is that they know what they are doing but even an idiot like me can change valve springs
