Angry anyone near Waltham area? need HELP diagnosing problem! ASAP.engines screwed up!!.

Just started tonight..I was going down the street and I went to pass someone..half throttle and the thing sounded like it missed like 4 or 5 times..I was like WTF!!! backed off the throttle..went to the bank to get some money and as I sat there it sounded rough, when I put it in gear..about 5 seconds after the engine surged a bit and pulled the car forward. At that point I went down the street tried it again and it did the same thing..sputtered..I was like ohh noo...so I get to the sub shop..take out the HPP+ in the trunk and put everything back to stock...I was like okay should be fine now...but halfway home I was getting the same thing..missfires..and couldnt belive it...I did put 89 octane in and was like..thats gotta be it...wasnt running good cus of the 89..I went to the gas station and put 93 in..still the same thing...sounds okay at idle..and normal driving.....but when I get into it a little..then it missfires..any ideas?? this is my daily driver..and need help..I was just crawling out of a finacial hole and now this..I had some extra cash I was going to use for some fun..but looks like the cars going to eat it..
so anyone with help I could really use it!
Thanks guys!

Could be something as stupid as a bad load of gas (even though you just refilled it there could be some left) or the fuel filter. Also, when I burnt a plug wire the car acted like that, idled fine, but drive it and it felt like it wanted to die. Or like John said it could be something like your coil or opti. Check the 'easy' stuff first.

best way to check wires is to open hood at night in a very dark place and start the car see if you can see any lights.
