Question Any lawyers around???

I rent a space in a garage where I keep the Z28. The garage was sold on Friday 9/20 and I got a call from the new owners saying my car must be removed by 9/21. I pay a monthly rent of $48.00 but I have nothing in writing, just the receipts. I wanted to know if anyone knows what my rights are regarding this. I thought I had a least 30 days to vacate the property. I've checked the MA consumer affairs web site and only find laws referring to apartments and such. Nothing about commercial property. I'm at a total loss, so I figured I'd ask here before I try to call a lawyer In my area. I also posted this in the lounge. Thanks for any help.

I don't know that renters rules apply because there is no tenancy. Probably a stogare facility (like a "U-Stor-It) could give you a reasonable answer.

In any event, they people who bought it are complete jerks if they don't provide you time to move out. Maybe you could even call the cops and ask them??????????
