Re: Would you do it again?

Even though this forum might be biased, If you had to choose a LE1 H/C kit or Nitrous Expess Wet kit what would you pick? Do you think one would be easier on the driveline than the other? An how exactly do you have to set your system up to not spray though shifts?

Here is a cost break down:
LE1 - $1100+shipping
additional supporting mods- 52mm TB ~$100, 30lbs injectors ~$200, 1.6RR and other valvetrain ~$500, gaskets ~$200 Were talking over $2100 without shipping and other small parts.

N2O: NX wet kit: $580, window switch $100, I know there is more so lets add $170 to keep it even. $850 or so. Plus saving on gas each week.

Thanks for the replies.

I suppose the real question is: Do you want 100-150 horses now, or 50-60 horses later?

Re: Would you do it again?

This car is my daily driver, so the biggest issue is reliability. If N2O is going to be like tossing a grenade into my 4L60E I'd wait and do the LE1. Idono, its just something about all motor that brings a tear to my eye. But I cant be drying tears with $100 bills.

Plus with the intake manifold leak I have, the LE1 would kill two birds...yada yada yada.

Hell, hard driving with the 4L60E and either the LE1 or spray makes it much more likely to break. I belive in the quote "dont do any mod unless you have the money to do the things that will be affected by the mod."

Well I would love the excuse to need a T56 Perhaps I'll trade someone my Auto setup for their T56 setup before mine goes.
