Will a 5177 nos dry kit work on my LT1?

If so will i still need a inline pump? the kit comes with a 100 jet but i would like to go to 125 or 150 later any help would be great as i am new to the nos thing.Thanks For You Time. Mike.

well seeing as you have a 96 (4th gens used mass air metering since 94), you theoretically COULD use the 5177 kit. however there's a couple issues...

1) the 5177 kit uses two lines split from the solenoids that are meant to go into each side of the LS1 airbox. you would probably be better off take the T-fitting out and running a single line from the 'noids to the intake tract (remember must be BEFORE the MAF sensor) just for simplicity sake. however, you will need a larger jet since the 100 hp rating is through DUAL jets on the 5177. so just figure out which jet will spray your intended level through one jet and buy it.

2) i imagine you can run 100 hp on the stock fuel system, but any higher and i would look at a pump and/or injectors. im not terribly familiar with LT1 fuel systems, but i KNOW you have much smaller injectors than the 28 pounders that came into the 98s and 01-02s (99-00 got 26s i believe). i would look into injector sizing and pump capacity before spraying a dry shot.
