will a 103,000 mile engine hold a 100 shot of N2O
I have a 97 TA with 103,000 miles on it. It seams to run strong. It's an A4 and I can get 14.3's with no mods ,gassed up, and weighing in at 3800 lbs.
I was going to go the route of Headers ,cat-back, 3200 converter and gears.
It now has 3.23 gears. I am going to see more bang for the buck using the money to buy a N20 kit then installing 3.73 gears, right?
Do I need to take any precautionary measures whening doing this? Window switch, new fuel pump, or what? I want this to be as same to my engine as it can.
I should be able to knock off a full second right?

i ran as much as 140 shot on my car with 160k on it for a year. my buddies cars have 124k and 106k on them. one runs a 150 shot. and the other a 175 shot.with no problems. stock fuel pump.and nothing else done.both cars are a4s. and yes, depending on tracktion you should easily pickup more than a second.
me and my dad have a internally stock 94 a4 with 4.10 and 2600 stall and we shoot up to 200 with no problems, but we have another fuel pump to run the nos that was our only problem. Now if we could get traction off of the line that would be a different story.

I run a 100 shot from an NX kit on my '94 with 107K on it and she's running fine except I have to have the tranny rebuilt. I think that would be the only thing I could see going on your car if it hasn't already.

Just had the transmission rebuilt 1000 miles ago. Raybestes clutches and bands, corvette servo, Hayden cooler and using Royal Purple Synthetic.
So I will be able to just bolt and go? Should I run and wet or dry kit? Im thinking of going 100 shot. Should I use a window switch?
